Tears In the Night

Tears in the Night Flipping the pages, I silently cry, reeling from the pain of your “Dear Jane” note. Pandita, such beautifully sad sentiments of a broken heart but your last line signals a resilient spirit... Wonderful and lovely lines of imagery throughout. How is my friend? Been such a long time... Silent tears fall in all of our eyes, wounds always heal, unless we do not let them.. in a few words, you wrote the meaning of sadness...

Such a sad poem, Pandita; its brevity conveys a depth of emotion that belies its length. These days, I guess a note is better than a text... (at least you can tear it into little pieces or burn it - or both!!). Best wishes, John.

In the past, before burning it, I actually held on to such a note for a while to remind myself that at the end of the day, I was better off without that individual in my life! Hi Pandita: A simple but emotional poem. Thanks also for phrasing a "dear Jane ". All you mostly hear is the Dear John: letters speaking as a guy with 3 daughters.
