Tears In a Seed

Tunnel my vision in lieu of a breath
Beginning the end; awaiting a death
Gasping at pieces of lost memories
Debating my secrets; those dearest to me

Desperately searching for cracks in the seams
The space in between the glare of the sheen
The moments i thought would capture my gaze
So lost in the beauty of sinister days

Amazing, how desperate for moments to come
Eternally Lying in wait of a gun
Comforting thoughts that pain wouldn’t last
Somehow I forgot how demons are cast

This moment began, some decades ago
I carried the ghosts now singing to me
Reliving the echoes of yesterdays song
A symphony worthy of tears in a seed
