Tears I Spill

This darkness my choice for taking all the wrong turns
My guiding fire just flickers it no longer burns

My eyes are the windows to my inner soul
These windows wide open let in nothing but cold

My brain is my prison for it's in control
My heart slowly fading as my body grows old

This body my casket, my spirit lies still
My eyes mourn my death with these tears I spill
