Tears From An Angel
The light doth set,
On thy precious face;
From the day we met,
I knew you were in the right place.
No troika or limo
No one was beseeched
There were many fancy cars though,
We were only on the beach.
Sunset’s beautiful glow,
Is but a silhouette behind the arch;
Down the aisle I wait to show,
That love can, be found in the dark.
A white suit,
Upon my love;
A maiden plays a flute,
While rose pedals, rain from above.
The choir sings,
You walk down the aisle;
The wedding bell rings,
You give me a smile.
Tears of happiness,
Flow down my face;
My hands you caress,
My heart starts to race.
As we stare,
Into each others eyes;
Our vows we share,
And no one has realized.
My angel is crying,
His tears are kind;
His love undying,
Love that’s all mine.
Tears from an angel,
And now everyone can see;
The ring on my finger,
Placed by my love on one knee.
