Tears For Death

Tears over death
Not because you’ve left
Without saying goodbye
Oh! I cannot tell a lie.

You departed like a storm
This is not the norm
How strange are some people
I have no idea that so many are purple.

Oh! Lord, I have no words
The shocks are real
The pain is surreal
Even for the birds.

Some have no love
They put themselves above
Everything on earth
Except, of course, death.

We should learn something new
Every single day. We should have a clue
Of what’s happening
In summer and in spring.

Tears not for you
Tears over death
So sad, you’ve left
Everything is now anew.
