Tears are prayers

When your heart's too sad
And the words are frozen
Remember tears are prayers
That God will hold on to
He'll take each one
And bless your heart
He'll embrace your soul
And give it sweet respite
He knows your sorrow
He understands your pain
He will always be there
Through every anguish
He'll send angels to you
To hold you close
And through your mourning
He'll send you hope
Don't feel alone
When you're crying now
Don't think it'll be forever
Because grief needs time
God will guide you
He'll help you through
For He knows what's best
For me and you
