Tears and Fake Smiles

Tears,I've cried a million tears
They have fallen for many years
They fall to the rhythm of my broken heartbeat
These tears have started to puddle around my feet

I fear with smiles my sadness I can no longer disguise
Because my grief and heartache are shown in my eyes
These fake smiles don't cover the tears on my face
If you look close their tracks you can trace

These tears they fall from my eyes like rain
And I'm still waiting for them to ease the pain
I guess they will fall until I no longer need to grieve
So until then with fake smiles I will try to deceive
