Tears

Tears
Tears are a language the tongue knows nothing of
Birthed in a Land where Angels dwell far above
This world of too much ignorance, and too little shame
Where corruption sits on a throne over earth to reign
 Tears are the soul's expression
Of a heart breaking in two
Of intense pride in someone worthy
Of gratitude for all God's done for you
 Weep and be ashamed not
For tears are a sacred gift
 From a Holy place
Be still and hear tears for they speak
And are a reflection of God's face
