Tears

Eyes so dry that
Want to cry and
Cannot; trigger
Those tears by
Any means!
Why don’t they
Flow?

Teas belong
Where hope
Is gone!

Even though I often shed tears, I HAVE to cling to hope. It's the only way to get through difficult times, David. Very compelling poem. Great work! Love, Carolyn

Interesting observation. Some time could be just a delayed effect. It's like you go through a time of numbness. Tears also have the power to take the pain away. Good write, David and thanks for your comments on my latest.
