Tears
Tears throughout the Bible
Said many different things
Some were tears of happiness
Others were cried by kings
Tears fell from the woman
Who washed the Master's Feet
Then the tears of Peter
Whose denial became defeat
When Jesus walked into the tomb
Where the body of Lazarus was kept
Because the Love He felt for him
It says that Jesus Wept
Tears are truly a language
That only God understands
In Heaven our tears are wiped away
By His Loving Nail Scarred Hands
