Tears

Tear filled eyes and said good byes A rhyme so fitting for times gone by What the future holds, now that’s a mystery Some clues yet to be know, others lay in history Longing to know what lay ahead Thinking back of the words left unsaid A blessing and a curse to think so deep From the seeds sewn to the harvest to reap What I would give for a good nights sleep A night without tears, a moment not to weep Visible or not the tears still fall Behind closed doors away from them all Got to keep going, the show must go on It’s just another night, mind racing till dawn.
