Tears

I can hear your tears, dripping in the silence
Being here all alone, gets inside my mind
Your picture, a new moon, shining on your face
Never felt this feeling, of being left behind

Today my heart broke, when I woke to meet the day
Inside...these empty walls, all came tumbling down
All your tears I hear, are starting to fade away
But the ones you left behind, now make a louder sound

These pains inside my heart, linger on my sleeve
And when I lie alone, all I do is grieve
This emptiness without you, makes it all so clear
But now the only thing I hear, Is dripping of your tears

Oh I still hear your tears, dripping in the silence
And the burning in my eyes, Is still seeing you
I look across this room, wandering if it's true
Punished for my words, that entered in your ears

Oh, I feel only pain, since you've walked away
Only tears are left, nothing more to say
Oh, I can hear your tears, dripping in the silence
I can hear your tears, dripping in the silence
