Tear
No tears tonight,
audience awaiting the final collapse,
your final adios
and once you hit the ground, they'll be waiting,
ready for applause,
that final shot from the revolver
and as you stay strong
"stay as strong as you can be"
the advice seems so worthless now-
infront of me
while I stand before you,
knife in hand while I wave it backwards and it pierces,
hole deepening,
in the guilty depth of letting you go,
pretending to be strong,
pretending to move on
but you stand there smiling
and during the finale,
the wound bleeds,
mind in heart, soaked by past tears,
now wettened with that last goodbye,
that last
tear.
