Teachings from a Guru
Laugh when you still can for the world will make you cry
Do something different even when you feel it’s not worth the try
Don’t be a part of some gossip where people want to pry
Words of wisdom will come to few
But from someone’s life you can pick up a cue
Live a life so simple that there is left not a single due
Sometimes it’s good to sit alone and eat
Especially when on another’s plate you would be meat
Sometimes you win, sometimes you lose, but with grace accept defeat
Many people, don’t try to please
And the crooked man’s palms don’t ever grease
With an honest penny you can live with ease
Not everyone is bold and beautiful
Its ok to be shy and dutiful
Trust me, there is a God who is bountiful
