Teachers Say and Do

Stop shouting
teaching is going on
in the class
be silent
hold patience
hear to learn

come here not to talk
you have future
you are the future
of society and nation
among you
will be leader, minister
King, Queen or Crown

see in the mirror of efforts
judge your sense
with true parlance
are you really here
in the class room
to win a prize
present and future
for which you come
to learn that art
teacher says

Teachers sacrifice
his energy and time
expects all be laid
in full of knowledge
and Wisdom
always prays "GOD"
for the good of them
who are taught

In return
we refund less to them.

A wonderful piece on how undervalued yet vitally important teachers are. Terrific writing BL, this is sadly more prevalent today than when you wrote it in 2011. Will we ever learn... blessings xxx lynnxx

It must be very difficult to be a teacher theses days and you tell of the sacrifie=ce in a unique way.

Thanks for agreeing with me and I think you certainly realize the practical life style of teachers after retirement. Simple bl

Bi, I taught in a Catholic High School and you're right that in most cases teachers don't get a lot of feedback or encouragement from students. I was blessed with many wonderful students though. That was a while ago and it seems students today are showing far little respect for students. Thanks for sharing your wise insight. Blessings, Carolyn
