Teachable Moment

Recess is over. It's time for class
   What's the kid got there
      --A bug in a glass?

Think now, teacher
   Is your class boring, perchance?
      This kid's really interested
         ~ Here's your big chance!

I love a teachable moment; I count on them always, and feel badly when I realize I have missed one. Great carpe diem!

Right! When those moments come along, one has to grab them and run with them for all they're worth. :) gw

I'll bet you see a lot of eye-opening behavior on that bus route, Sandra... Thank you so much for your positive comment on this little effort. Appreciated! Best wishes, Gershon

Based on a true story, too. It was many years ago. I was the teacher. I seized the moment, and that student went from troublemaker to star almost overnight. It pays to seize the moment! :) gw
