Teach the World To Sing
To change the world
all we must do
is look at me
as I look at you.
Not judge you by
the colour of your skin.
The clothes you wear.
If you're fat or thin.
Too begin, as newborns,
we should breast feed.
From infancy on
it's organic please.
Concentrate on spiritual
health not wealth.
Tell your children
you love them.
At least once a day.
Teach them to pray
for violence to become
a thing of the past.
How precious our world is.
How resources won't last.
If we instill our children
with values that are sound.
Hopefully the world
can safely rebound.
How stupid are wars
for financial gain.
The majority suffer
unimaginable pain.
Countries must unite
and be as one.
To love each other
as God loved his son.
Could we ban bad news
and only have good?
Could we meditate daily
to lift our mood?
I hope you agree.
