Teach Me

Teach me how
To tame a characters
In my language

Whenever I write a poem,
The pain whistles around,
Like the wind whistle,
Through a crack

Teach me how my poem,
Should be written:
Light as a dream,
Solid like an oak,
Precious as pearls,
Mellowed as wine,
Fragrant as Jasmine,
Strange and sweet, and closest,
To the soul, like the dearest faces'

Teach me how it should be:
Honest and pure,
Like the memory of:
The old green hills,
The antique homes,
The Great Plains

Teach me how to write my poem
With some sweetness,
Even if the nightingales have no wings, -
And my country there, -
Prey of eagles,
Torn apart by strife and hatred
Violent and ... No less

Teach me, O my pen
How to write a poem as the poets do,
Poetry empty of everything,
But the love
