TCHAKA

Terrace of a small house scented with spices and love
Chaud tchaka gleams like gold in a ceramic bowl
Harmony of friends and music makes the evening alive
Aroma of garlic and thyme rises in the sea breeze
Keen joy fills my heart each time the spoon lifts
Around the table we feast, and Haiti shines in every taste
