Taught

" Taught " Do we all have to pass through a keeper of the gate? Many people believe this will be our ultimate fate. Where are we all going? Just what is our direction? Our lives are full of wonder we all have many questions. Where are we all going as a human race? Why are we all rushing at such a quick fast pace? Why do we get to live? Whats our living purpose? Will a reasonable answer ever come to the surface? Maybe the faithful answer is to be within a church or maybe it could be found in scientific research. Maybe we all should reach for spiritual reality but we all could be doomed with hells fatality. Why do we always strive to do our very best? When this could really be nothing but a test. Life could even be an experimental mess so many different theories confusion I confess. In our quest for learning some kind of living meaning striving for intelligence sometimes leaves us screaming. Is there really someone a creative superior being? That many truly believe is our ultimate king. What are we here to do? What are we trying to achieve? What do you really think? What do you really believe? We all have these kinds of wonders we all have these kinds of thoughts we all sit and sometimes ponder these things we all are Taught... Penned By MPK

Sometimes faith is all we have. When we do it usually is enough. Great philosophical poem. Vince

I know only one reason as to why we are all here, and that is love my dear friend - love! Learn it, live it, give it and be it - only then will the test be passed. Not as easy as it sounds. :) Blessings, Kristin

Anyone who has looked up into the dark night, at the vast universe around us, has pondered those same questions. I'm sure from the beginning of time, we have all shared the thoughts you put into this wonderful poem. Who are we, and why are we here? Hopefully, to live the best lives we can. An interesting topic...good job. ....Carrie

there is only one answer, that is Jesus. lots of people don't like to hear that, but putting your faith in HIm and believing on him is what takes us to heaven. This was a very beautiful poem, well penned, but Romans 10 and verses 9 and 10. don't mean to preach, but had to let you know. you are a great poet and i enjoy reading your poems, and for your comments on mine.

You're right, we all have questions and it's normal to question. I say though that life is a test, not life at all, it's what we do with this test that's the important thing. Great rhythm and flow to this and it really leaves one thinking. Michael
