Tattooed Black
Tattooed the memories, of time spent with you
The years shared together, a million too few
Spoke of our secrets, had each others back
Your beautiful portrait, now painted black
You promised forever, but had to let go
Your own pain too heavy, this much I know
A hole in my heart, beyond all repair
If had to describe it, utter despair
A beautiful friendship, frozen in time
The moment now ugly, that once was sublime
Why did you do it, for I cannot see
The smile that you fronted, it even fooled me
My only wish for you, serenity found
Heavens gates opened, harmonious sound
Your demons now crippled, setting you free
Now a Guardian Angel, to watch over me...
