Taste of Eternity
The sound of classical music heard from a far, the smell of a fresh spring day,
beauty born on the beach of heavens shore to me that’s what you are. Time
stops when I hold you close like a fine wine you sip, the winds give me
permission to kiss your angel lips. I stop for a moment I hate dreams like this
one day I will awake until the next time I sleep. But no it’s not a dream I thank the
stars for it is true I am married to a princess and Khadijah she is you. Men
through
the ages fight wars for wealth, and dignity, I will fight to have you by my side for
the rest of my life. That is my taste of eternity. Believe these words for they are
spoken by the son of man. I will love you until the end of all days forever in my
heart you will stand.
