Tarnished Reflections-Contest

"I saw the smile that had left her face.
       sadness leaving her eyes.
hearing voices of painful words that i
               knew were lies.
She walked away with her head down.
tears she tries so hard to hide.
a world so ugly with cruel intentions &
her heart broken in two inside.
offering a smile and my own friendship.
to show her not all people are mean.
cruelty is something that needs to end,
but somehow it can cause a scene.
So think before you act causing hurt in
             a tarnished reflection.
a true friend will never let a smile go.
a true friend will always give protection"
