Tarnished Reflections

TARNISHED REFLECTIONS

It's so frustrating to me how tattered my life has become,
When I see my world around me, I can see it's all come undone.
I think of my past, it was so perfect, I was happy every day,
What happened to me, I ask, how did I ever get this way.
The shine and brightness, they are no longer with me,
How did I miss all of that? why was I unable to see?
Looking at the things I have done and what they caused,
But that was way back then when I did not know God.
These days I hang no mirrors as a form of protection,
Believe me, It is hard to look at my Tarnished Reflections.
