Tapestry Me
Though my life began when I was born, I don’t remember
Anything before age four, when no one picked me for a silly game, and
Pent up sadness flooded my face. But as life went on, I had happy
Experiences too, like when I rode in a hot air balloon. Ups and downs have made me
See, that life isn’t always what you want it to be. But if you keep on
Trying to get it right, you’ll find some pain, but also love and light. I
Reached out yesterday, to smooth out wrinkles, recalling former childhood dimples,
Yearning to change these flaws I saw. But introspection has led me to see, that in
My life’s tapestry, they’re really beautiful
Embroidery.
