Tannenbaum

Hear now what I say to thee;
Lovely fragrant Christmas tree;
Grown up in the soft brown earth;
Fill your destiny by rounded girth;
With season’s finery on every bough;
For our memories now allow;
A monument of our Savior’s birth;

A fine tribute to Christmas. Now I have to look up the word Tannenbaum.
