Tanichka 's Gifts
A sparkling thought
you threw
I caught
safe now in my pocket
When I get home
when I'm alone
I'll put it in my locket
A keepsake lives
and always gives
more joy thru the years
I need your thoughts
the ones I've caught
protect me from my tears
Though rash and wild
I'm still a child
who swings out on a dream
please give me one
when you are done
for mine has lost the gleam
the gleam of youth
of breathless truth
that passioned life alive
sits on the floor
outside my door
asleep tll you arrive
