Tangled

Everywhere I look around and watch those who pass on by leaving me alone with just the stars and moonlit sky. Tangled knots keep me here with ties I'm forever bound I try and call out into space but no one hears a sound With nothing but a necklace of twine I go to the edge and look down waves crash against the sides coming from all around I think about how people would react when they heard the bad news all my thoughts have become a bomb impossible to diffuse But even when all hope was lost I was lifted from the sinking ship you took one look at the ropes and that's all it took to - *snip*
