Tampanensis
Go along, just sail away
My brain becomes a sea.
Ever consuming, this intoxication,
That makes me forget I'm me.
Lost in the water, the world painted bright
Perhaps I am finally free,
The sea opens up, it's dying of thirst
But will learn to just let it be.
Licking it's lips, hungry for more,
This tantalizing food for thought.
The sky melts into the sea
Just begging to be taught.
My chains come off, waves start to splash,
Boiling, perhaps too hot.
I must remember to tell the sea
That knowledge cannot be bought.
What's opened and what's seen
Cannot be taken back.
For it is too late, it’s been digested,
Slipping through the cracks.
As the sea starts to calm, quenched of its thirst
I'll continue to find my track,
Until the world, still painted bright,
Slowly fades to its former black.
