Tamontaka Shrine

my hurt heart is soothed beneath
   dewy, emerald canopies
      where pebbly pathways wind
around a shaded fountain of peace.

a lotus pond meditates here,
   a busy birdbath frolics there.
      ah, what soft, serene solace,
light as a feather my soul is !
