Taming the Senses

 Light dims from fever of day …

      bare as skin of fireflies’ touch

         skating among petals strewn

            from a  breeze that wafts fragrance  of stillness  ~


Gazing at last tints of night
 
   where stroll  of life traverses

      an inner odyssey, hushed…

         until  all creation binds

            oneness of soil’s center, taming senses
                 
         ~
