Talking With God
He will never turn you away for He loves you so much
Every word He will hear and you will feel His Touch
As with the Prodigal son He is so eager to greet
For He is The One yet He is so easy to meet
His Face upon creation He is the King of every Nation
Yet to you He reaches out carrying you through your every bout
He set every star in place and upon all He shed His Grace
Yet He is right at your side it’s just you who never tried
But just know one thing and set it in your mind
A soul that does not sing will eventually go blind
For any relationship you must build and into it you invest
Yet if you don’t know what He willed then how can you pass His test
He doesn’t expect perfect nor does He accept neglect
Yet it is never too late to start for even the coldest heart
At first it may seem a little strange but that He will quickly change
So don’t wait anymore to finally open up that door
