Talk To Jesus

See, it's all about your thought process and what you believe
Either way God still does bless so don't let the devil deceive 
Your next step and breath, you honestly think you are in control
Surely this person is not you, surely you realize you have a soul

That soul that you are hiding and won't allow to sing out His praise
As it knows in not so abiding knowing that it is you yourself who betrays
So often has it called out to you so often has it called to you by name
In instructively knowing what is true in the reflecting of your own shame

Many other souls sing out loudly so rejoicing in His Word each day
They speak of Jesus so proudly as they journey about in their way
Calling upon Him in our times of fear and thanking Him in times of joy
But to you this may never become clear the worst thing of all to destroy

Lord we pray that all may see your Light and that Your Will be done
Praying that all may have such sight in the praising of Your Most Precious Son
But of who are we even to ask all of us being such an worthy servant
But just this once, go and bask in His Glory in seeing for all that was meant
