Taking the Worrying Out of His Hands
What should I wear? He asked.
He is seventeen and is meeting her grandparents.
A lover of fashion,, he has all kinds of clothes.
Are they Democrats? Are they Republicans?
Are they Liberals? Are they socialists?
What to wear, what to wear.
She is seventeen and confident.
She lets him know that he can wear anything.
We do not care. We are the liberal’s liberals.
He is still texting and worrying.
She tells him to wear pajamas.
“If you don’t wear pajamas, you cannot come!”
Her brothers quickly change back into their pajamas
To show him solidarity.
