Taken

Do you ever remember
Every valentine on you calender
I brought home a flower
where did we lose the power?

I was there everywhere
whenever sick I did care
Kissed you in the morning
where are the good mornings?

I held your hand
I took a strong stand
To love forever
did we not promise to hurt never?

I went above love
like a slave did serve
where did we lose link?
why did we let it sink?

Hard to believe you are taken
My being is shaken
I will nurse my heart
Till the memories depart.
