Taken

This heart that always felt so mine
Suddenly doesn’t belong to me alone
Oh, your eyes and the way they shine
Promise me only love will be shown
In them even if apart we have grown
Cause I fear upon waking up tomorrow
You may act nothing like your own
Like a gown for a set you borrow
Leaving me to face up the sorrow
I’m afraid if I enter your view in black and white
My own perception will get narrow
But my heart is already ready to obey and abide
Please, don’t ever make me regret being taken by you
If so, like a shadow this love will hide in a dark avenue
