Taken

Misery stands before my bed
Keeping me company as I sleep,
Adapting to the lies and words
And the evil that it speaks
His hands being held
Slipping from my grasp,
A scream lurks from behind
With a breathless gasp
His fingers so small
Im unable to hold on
Dancing till daylight
With his sweet benevolent song
The words and notes
Twinkle from his eyes
The tears I cry
Filled with sobs and crys
A romance between the two
Its company I cant let go
His face I get to see just one more time
That face I never got to know
