Take the Plunge

Only so much will He allow, And I feel time is running out for those that don’t know Jesus now. The prophecy of the Bible, I hear people scoff and criticize, Calling it fairy tales, away to control children with lies. Those people I would not choose to be, Come judgment day for no pity they will see. Apologies and excuses will fall by the way, When we stand in front of Jesus on that glorious day. I was a blind man for so long, Till I found what I was missing, and realized where I belong. I wasn’t forced it was simply a choice I gladly made, Nothing like the one our Savior paid. The benefits are out of this world and it doesn’t cost us a dime, And I don’t know whether you realize it or not, but eternity is an awful long time. Myself I’ve made enough mistakes throughout the years, And the older I get the closer eternity nears. No one but you can make the choice, And don’t wait till you’re standing there and hearing the Masters voice. Cause then all your pleas and excuses will fall on deaf ears, And you will experience the rest of eternity all of your fears.
