Take the Next Right Decision

Opportunity awaits at
The right turn
By experience I have
Learned there is
Nothing left worth
Fighting for on the
One-way other
direction corridor
Take the right turn
As you yearn for
Finally something good
In life
The left is what’s left
In the strife of hasty
Decisions
And bad directions from
Someone you really
didn’t know all that well
But, what the hell
what do I have to lose
I’ll take the next right
Hoping it might be what
I meant to choose
Going left has always
Left me confused
