reach out, take my hand
I'll show you the way
I'll never break your heart
and I promise I'll always stay
in times of deep trouble
in times of pleasure
in times of joy and peace
I'll love you without measure
never will another ever be
what I can be to you
or what you can be to me
let's never forget to be true
take my hand please
I'll take you to the promised land
and you and I together
will always forever stand
