Take Me On Home

Take me on home
for I've fought the fight,
I'm drained and I'm tired
let me rest tonight

I did my very best
but still lost the war,
take me on home
where the pain is never more

The enemy was strong
but I stood my ground,
now take me on home 
where only You are found

Remember me well
for I tried and I tried
please take me on home
all my tears have been cried

So take me on home 
I've finally said my piece,
I'm now going to rest O God
let all the problems cease.
