Take Me Back

Take me back, Into those arms I love, so subtle and caressing Take me back I plea thee. Take me back, Into the epoch of ecstasy and true happiness As her smiles and dimples gladdens all sundry. Take me back, Into the epoch of beauty Where I stare endlessly into her glittering eyes That inspires my tender heart and waiting ink. Oh take me back I plea. Take me back, Into those memorable salient days That her sight I never lose, For it puts lingering smile on my soul. Take me back I plea thee If thee have little spot for me in you Be of good cheer and Samaritan and take me there, For soon or later, my candle will burn out And the pleasure in me dies. Thus, life becomes misery.
