Take Me Away From Here

I reach the emptiness of my room
The breath I take makes me dizzy
Collapsing on my bed I will fall asleep soon
As my eyes close my mind expands
I enter a new world that I love
Here I control everything below and above
In the real world I'm tossing and turning
But in my world my passion is burning
I wake to the real world which is what I fear
Please take me away from here...

Much struggle I feel in your write. Big difference between dreams and reality makes you fear what is. But truthfully, dreams can also be fantasies, they are not real either, but they can tell you who you are inside. Interesting write, but a little disturbing, Robert. Place yourself under a better light, you might see things in you you didn't know you had. Thanks for sharing. Best wishes, Caroline.

At least your dream life is safe and that is an expression of the real self. Keep the creative and fasinating writes flowing. Sara
