Take Me Away

You are the mightiest, your wonders how do I define? I feel so little holding onto fingers of thine. My sickness and disease, stand against my own being- darkness I do SEE, yet dread the devil. My poems and melodies cry for freedom and peace- my poverty, known to all, whom shall I plead? Show me the way- for you're the only one, amidst the howling wind and thundering gust, towards salvation- you walk barefoot and leave the dust- take me along... take me away.... oh! my 'self' be my guardian...........
