Take Me As I Am

I might not be perfect
I might not be smart
But what I have
comes from my heart

I do not cheat
I do not lie
What else do you
want from this guy

Take me as I am
That's all I ask from you
Take me as I am
no more begging, I'm thru

If you can't accept me
For what I have to give
being together
We can not live

Look into my eyes
And what do you see
That's Right,
a man that can make you happy

Take me as I am
That's all I ask from you
Take me as I am
no more begging, I'm thru
