Take It Out On Me In Love

Your silence is a burden That lays heavy on my heart It feels like we are over Though we didn't even start It's a shame to have to feel this way Like push has come to shove If you must punish me, please don't leave Take it out on me in love Tell me that you love me And that you run to hide the truth You do it cause you have to There's no point you're trying to prove It's like protection from your own heart That you justify with tears You're longing for my I love you To be whispered in your ear And while I go on dreaming Like this man always does Eternally I make believe That you'd take it out on me in love Every night I'd hold you And thank the Lord above For the chance we got to become us And the feeling of your touch My words keep reaching out to you Bout how our souls fit like a glove On the hand of fate its not too late So take it out on me in love Tell me that you love me And that you run to hide the truth You do it cause you have to There's no point you're trying to prove It's like protection from your own heart That you justify with tears You're longing for my I love you To be whispered in your ear And while I dream about you Like this man always does Eternally I make believe That you'd take it out on me in love It just keeps getting harder For you to hide from the truth That each day that passes us by Is just time that we both lose And the biggest fear I've ever known Is to pass to this lifes end With not having known what lingers here Between this woman and this man It'd be a lie if I ever told you I don't think of you each day And picture you right here with me This ain't some game I'm trying to play So please let's lift the burden Of our not knowing us Lets contemplate our mistake Then take it out in love Let's take it out in love......
