Take It All, People, Take It All!
Through poetry, I leave my mark behind,
Take what you need, choose what you find.
Have I kept too much for myself alone?
I’m still brimming with thoughts yet to be shown.
There’s wisdom here, and patience as well,
Knowledge that flows like a boundless well.
With pure intent, I offer the young,
Accept it all, as though from my tongue.
Within, there are kind words and warmth to spare,
Dreams and aspirations that swirl and ensnare.
No matter how much you take from this trove,
It stands undiminished, high above.
My conscience, unblemished by time, stays bright,
I have moments of joy, free from plight.
All of this I give freely, at no cost,
Take it all, people, before it’s lost!
The visionary soul casts its gaze afar,
Here lies ambition, honor, and steadfast heart.
I lay it all out for you to take,
Take it all, people, before it’s too late!
In these offerings lies steadfast truth,
And love that inspires life’s burning youth.
All of it fulls in the depths of my soul,
But there is no place for envy, spite,
and a narrow goal.
To those whose hopes have faded away,
I’ll give them fire to brighten their day.
My heart is vast enough to offer the sun,
But I despise the ignorant, void of reason.
When noble thoughts come together as one,
They lead humanity to great deeds begun.
Take it all, but leave my faith and belief,
Like mountains tall, untouched by grief.
Take my fate, grounded firm on the earth,
Bathe in tradition, and renew your worth.
Take it all, but spare me this:
The burden of poetry—I’ll keep it as is.
