Take Him HomeI am Done with Him
I thought my middle child needed to have a play date
She did not agree, but I knew she’d love it once it began
So I invited a five-year-old; his parent brought him at eight
It was a Saturday morning, my plan was grand.
Five minutes after the mother left my, child came to me.
Take him home, I am done with him, she said. Her name is Tee.
I thought she was kidding, but she was not. His name was Drew.
I spent four hours trying to entertain him, I wish this was not true.
