Take Away

Thoughts scattered
Life erodes my heart
Anxiety attacks
When did it all start?

An obvious wrong
exists, but is hidden
Reaching out for anything;
Everyone’s forbidden

I’m more alone 
Than ever before
Beat, left for dead
Deep bruises and sores

I want to cry
But I’m too bitter
Too angry and sad
I’m just a quitter

Take it all away
Take the pain
The effort put in living
has only got me drained

Take it all
Take me away
Set the sun
And end the day
