Take a Minute

Take a minute and look at yaself and see what you become
Your dispicably beautiful self is dead now see what youve done?

To find that every one youve ever confided in has left you to the side
Now you really find out who was down to ride

My hearts contempt blocks out all five senses and i am dead to the world
Been a while since i was last a sweet bubbly little girl

Take a minute and examine those around you
None of them original or unique, they do as others do

Is it your own insecurity that blankets you from truth
Feeds off of your ignorance like some devious sleuth

Envy follows you throwin her eyes at anyone who dares be better
Ready to lie and dog out any and every one at the drop of a feather

Is this what we've allowed ourselves to become
The first sight rebelliousness and we quake and run

No one dares stand out or spit on the norm
Unable to distinguish from the crowd like a raindrop in a storm

Do not question me or doubt my ways
Because for you its surreal and I see that its just a phaze

You find humility in not having newest item of clothing
I find humor in your looks of sheer hate and loathing

Take a minute to read what I have to say
Take a minute to wash the impurities of life away

Take a minute analyze your life
Take a minute to envision your futue self someones husband or wife

take a minute...

let me know what you find
